Whether your child needs Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy, our experienced team is here to help through treatments, evaluations, and observations, all designed to fit naturally into your child’s daily environment. In-home and school-based sessions not only save time but also allow us to collaborate more closely with you and your child’s care team to create lasting progress.

School and Home Observations

We offer personalized school or home observations to better understand your child’s strengths and needs in their everyday environment. After the visit, we’ll provide a written report that may include:

Recommendations for activities and exercises
Helpful tools or supplies to support participation
Practical strategies for home and school

Consultations to Review Reports

Have a medical or school report that feels overwhelming? Our therapists can review and explain the information, helping you understand next steps and how to put recommendations into action. Consultations can be in-person or virtual.

Informal Screenings

Informal screenings are a helpful first step in identifying whether a child may benefit from therapy. These quick check-ins involve observation, feedback from parents and teachers, and may include brief screening tools. Screenings can happen at your child’s school or at our BLT clinic.

If needed, we use tools such as:

BDI-2 (Battelle Developmental Inventory) – checks developmental milestones
BOT-2 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test) – screens fine and gross motor skills

Standardized Evaluations

A formal evaluation offers a deeper look at your child’s development using standardized tests.
We assess:

Visual motor and perceptual skills
Fine and gross motor coordination
Handwriting and functional abilities

You’ll receive a full report with results, recommendations, and an individualized therapy plan if needed.

Therapy Services

Based on evaluation results, we offer individualized treatment sessions that are fun, goal-oriented, and tailored to your child’s unique needs. Services may include:

One-on-one or small group therapy
Occupational therapy, speech therapy, or both
Sessions at home, school, or our clinic in San Francisco and nearby areas
Telehealth visits
