Therapy Groups

Our therapy groups offer a fun and supportive space where children can build early friendship skills while enhancing sensory motor development, social skills, and self-regulation. Through engaging and hands on activities, children learn how to connect, share, and play with others in meaningful ways.

Groups are kept small and may be tailored to meet the unique needs of the children participating. Each group is led by an experienced pediatric therapist or educator who guides play in a way that fosters learning, confidence, and joyful interaction.

Parents and guardians are also invited to connect with the therapist or educator after each session to hear about their child’s progress and receive helpful tips to continue support at home.

Here are some of our weekly group offerings designed to support your child’s development through play, connection, and skill-building:

Unlock the Joy of Writing

This weekly class is designed for children ages 5–8 to explore the fun and creativity of writing in a supportive, therapeutic setting. Through engaging, hands-on activities like story-making, drawing, and letter play, kids strengthen fine motor skills, build confidence, and practice important social and communication skills. Led by pediatric specialists, this class helps children express themselves, work with peers, and discover the joy of writing, all while developing key skills that support their growth and success.

The Friendship Circle

This weekly group supports children in building social connections, emotional awareness, and self-regulation skills through fun, sensory-based activities. Designed and led by pediatric therapists, this class focuses on helping kids understand their bodies, emotions, and how to manage big feelings. Through movement, mindfulness, storytelling, and creative projects, children practice tools from programs like Zones of Regulation and the Alert Program while making friends and gaining confidence. The Friendship Circle is a joyful space where kids grow together, inside and out.

Sensory Motor Music Group

Join us for a joyful hour of music, movement, and connection! Led by experienced special educator Susan Dambroff, this group helps children build social and communication skills through interactive songs, rhythm games, and playful physical activities. Children will strengthen their bodies, practice listening, and learn how to regulate their energy and emotions all while having fun. Activities like yoga, jumping games, and obstacle courses support motor planning and sensory integration in a warm, engaging environment.
